My return to the easel this year was a gift.
A gift from my giving grandma who commissioned me to paint my first piece in acrylics.

Grandmas's gift rekindled my passion.
The next gift came in an unusual package. My "bosom friend" signing us up for a craft fair in her small town. To my delight two pieces were sold - enough to make me see potential. Her gift enabled me to explore this medium and find joy in what acrylics allow me.
This December my gift to myself was to paint both a painting that has been in my minds eye for almost a decade, and a "small" collection. Some were given as gifts for Christmas. Other friends at my shopping night overpaid on my humble price tags and I saw that perhaps there is something here.
Something that brightens my life and by doing so brightens someone walls, and maybe their life too.
